Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child
Through the power of Jesus Christ, a simple shoebox gift can inspire hope and instill understanding of God’s deep love into the hearts of a child.
For millions of kids around the world, this will be their first gift. You can change that.
Pick up your shoebox in the church lobby. There are free items available in the lobby to put in your shoebox(es). Tell A Child About Jesus!

Entertaining Angels: Nomadic Center Ministry
"The most wonderful potluck you've ever seen, with people you don't know, and afterwards provide a clean, warm, safe place to sleep."
That's how we would describe the Nomadic Shelter Ministry, our partnership with Redwood Gospel Mission.
This ministry serves to house up to 36 homeless people overnight, in churches throughout Sonoma County for seven months a year, October to April.
We host the first Wednesday of 7 months, October - April: next is Wednesday, December 5.
Guests - homeless people -vetted by trained staff at RGM - will be brought to the church in vans. Our part will be to provide a meal, which we may choose to also partake of. This is an opportunity to share the life of Christ with the homeless, a sharing of food, conversation, and simple kindness. One of us may share a brief message of the work of Christ in our life, and hope in the Lord. Then our guests will lie down for a peaceful night's rest after what for many is an unbelievably hectic day.
The opportunity for us is to prepare and serve the meal, hang out with our guests, briefly share from the Word, and let the Lord work as we make ourselves available. This might be a good activity for small groups or people with a common interest in ethnic foods, as one example. Our church has agreed to host the first Wednesday night of each month for seven months beginning October 3 and ending April 3. Food should be ready to serve by 6:00 each evening. You will not be responsible for staying the night, nor for cleaning up the next morning.
