Birth through 6th grade

The family at Crosspoint Community Church LOVES kids and their families! We firmly believe that children are the future of this world, and we are honored to have a part in training them to be the best they can be! Our goal is to partner with parents, and teach children to LOVE God, LOVE others, and LOVE their unique abilities. We offer Sunday School during the entirety of our main Sunday service, and split the age groups into 2-3, 4-K, and 1-6.

What it looks like

Prior to serving in Children’s Ministry, all volunteers         are trained on working with children. We do not want       to be another parent or school system, but a place           where your children can deeply learn about God and       utilize their uniqueness.
In all of our classrooms we use the D6 curriculum           which is based on intentionally empowering parents and children to live out Deuteronomy 6:4-7. There is a child in all of us, and we all are growing, we are all messy, we all need time to play, we all need someone to love us, and we all need Christ. It is our hope that we can teach the heart and mind of each child to love God through their abilities.

The safety of your children is paramount. Each volunteer is background checked , interviewed, and trained prior to serving in the classroom. We utilize the KidCheck system to ensure that all volunteers are aware of any special dietary / allergen / medical needs a child might have, and that each child is picked up only by an authorized parent or guardian.

We would love the chance to serve your family. If you have previously used KidCheck at a different church, you can check in at our station with that account. If you have not, please click here for a link to the KidCheck account builder website. This will ensure that you can quickly and easily drop off your children, as well as read a bit more about the different security features offered.
